The Parish Council meet every three months at Manston Village Hall - NB use of this building is suspended until further notice. Meetings are likely to be held at Child Okeford Village Hall until advised otherwise. 

Agendas and minutes are posted on the village notice boards which are situated by the village Hall in Manston, on the Manston Road (opposite Hillside), and by the phone box in Hammoon.

The duties of the Parish Council include:

• Reviewing and commenting on planning applications within the Parish
• Liaising with relevant authorities and agencies, including our Dorset Council Councillor (Cllr. Jane Somper) to represent the views of villagers
• Addressing issues of interest and concern to villagers
• Ensuring the play equipment and field adjacent to Manston Village Hall are maintained to a high standard and the play equipment is inspected on an annual basis.
